Virtual Volunteering Sign-Ups

Weren’t able to panel IRL in Toronto? Have a leftover PowerPoint Night slide deck you’re dying to share? We have the job for you!

DashCon 2 is opening up virtual panelist and moderator positions starting today! They will remain open until Friday, June 20th. We want to specifically encourage non-North American applications so we can increase accessibility and run panels round-the-clock on July 5th. DashCon 2 is yours to create!

As promised, we are opening song applications for DashCon 2’s dance party! Please request songs you want to dance to, so as much as we love Hozier, Take Me To Church might not be the move. However we don’t discriminate on genre: waltz music, emo, punk, nightcore, game OSTs, Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up, and more are welcome!

Suggest Us Songs!

Since we’ll probably get too many requests, we’ll be putting some music selections up to a vote here on Tumblr.

The more suggestions a song gets, the more likely we are to include it, so don’t be afraid to suggest a song you think someone else has already suggested.

Commissions for Charity

Great news—some very generous artists have offered to volunteer their time and draw comissions in exchange for proof of donation to DashCon 2’s Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser. Tumblr user (and DashCon 2 panellist!) @skaetlett has already taken some charity comissions 🙂
